He was a funny guy who loved to travel, who had an Instagram account documenting toilets he saw on trips abroad. He had helped bring Olivia out of the blur, but any lingering fantasy of them together was holding her back. When they met that day, it became even clearer that it just wasn’t going to work. Their relationship was too entwined with old feelings to be just a friendship, but there wasn’t enough there to build into something more. They decided to unfriend each other on Facebook and stop talking. Olivia knew she needed to leave behind this thing that had never really even been there so she could move ahead with the rest of her life.
